The spirit of witchcraft is unstable in all her ways

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.  A double minded man is unstable in all his ways (James 1:6-8).

The spirit of witchcraft is one that is especially hard to discern, because of her seemingly kind, soft, and gentle wiles. She can work through anyone, whether it be the aggressive wife or the controlling pastor or campus ministry staffworker who harshly lectures people to be gentle (what an irony!).

Domination, manipulation and intimidation are only mere manifestations of the spirit of witchcraft. They are not the spirit of witchcraft herself. Rather, the spirit of witchcraft seeks control for the lustful pleasures that it satisfies. She blinds people under her into thinking that they are bullied, and oppressed when they have no 'control' or 'choice'. She feeds on the fleshly lusts of rebellion.

The classical example of such a manifestation is in 'modern' young women who think they are "oppressed" because of the rightful criticism against the indecent ways they dress up.
The spirit of witchcraft is so deceptive that she can blind those under her or ignorant of her into thinking that the oppressor is the oppressed, and the oppressed the oppressor. She uses this is stir up conflict and cause division. She works with the spirit of mammon who feeds on bitter envy and selfish ambition to blind people into thinking it is not only normal and acceptable to dominate, manipulate and intimidate others, but that if one does not have the liberty to do so, one is oppressed.

James 3:13-18 explains that bitter envy and strife always present where there is evil:
Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.  This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

1 Corinthians 3:3 also explains: "For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?" The same words 'envy' and 'strife' or selfish ambition in some translations are used.

The spirit of witchcraft seeks to cause division between people by feeding on lust of the flesh, and pride of life, specially envy and selfish ambition. The very idea of rights is precisely the manifestation of envy and selfish ambition or strife. It is an evil, carnal, fleshly idea that the Church should treat with utter contempt.

The spirit of witchcraft works with the spirit of mammon by feeding on the selfish fear of oppression, disrespect and hatred received from others. The spirit of mammon stirs up the envy and strife, holding those who live by the flesh or true Christians who are seduced by him to think that anxiety for anything earthly is legitimate. This deception occurs because of the pride of the flesh, thinking it 'deserves' what one has.

The spirit of witchcraft then cooperates with mammon by feeding on such envy and strife, blinding people into thinking that one who has less earthly things, whether it be power, opportunity, possessions, romantic relationships, love or anything else, are oppressed, bullied or treated unjustly. People are blinded into believing they are oppressed because they have less earthly things out of their own rebellion. This rebellion is of the pride of life.

Rebellion is the desire to live a way that deviates from God's Will, or to even doubt anything about God. It is manifested by unfaithfulness to God. The fear of what people think about the teachings of the Bible is itself rebellion for it is to please people, and thus, displease and rebel against God. The fear of people is itself rebellion, which is manifested in fleshly, worldly methods of teaching, preaching, evangelising, and explaining the Word of God.
The spirit of witchcraft uses such rebellion to dominate, manipulate and intimidate others, and uses people controlled by her to control others. She thrives on unfaithfulness to God. This is why 1 Samuel 15:23 explains "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. "

Rebellion is unfaithfulness, and seeking to live one's own way, thinking it is right and wholesome, is witchcraft. It is the manifestation of unfaithfulness to God. All her 'good' and 'righteous' works are really means to dominate, manipulate and intimidate. She uses deception to achieve this. Such is her unstableness.

Signs of a Person under the spirit of mammon

Both the unsaved and saved can be under the spirit of mammon. Do not be deceived! An unsaved person can only serve mammon because it is not part of his nature to submit to God in any way (Romans 8:7). However, the Christian can most definitely yield to the temptations of mammon just as he can yield to the temptations of satan. This is what is means for a Christian to be under the spirit of mammon. The signs of a person being under the spirit of mammon are: The person does not understand the spirit of mammon. This is because he or she is blinded by it and therefore cannot see it. The person reacts whenever being confronted with being told that they are under the spirit of mammon, or being told that they may be under it. This is not the person themselves reacting, but the spirit of mammon reacting. The person is self-satisfied with the abundance that they have. This is especially the case with many Christians today. They are happy with having a family, a well-paying job, security

Two types of contentment

The world seeks contentment. It seeks to be contented in pursuit of all kinds of things, whether it be money, health, wealth, romance, sex, careers or family. It does not necessarily seek after riches to be content. However, that one does not seek after money as the first priority, but other things that are typically associated with good traditional values, such as family, does not in any way mean that one is content in the godly sense. By no means! A person can be a "conservative" and "religious" but just as earthly as the "liberal". There are two types of contentment: earthly contentment and godly contentment. Earthly contentment finds its fulfillment and satisfaction in things that are passing away, not necessarily money, but also things like family, education and children. Yes, that's right. Many professing American Christians think that they could never be under the spirit of mammon because they care for their families and love their families, a

The spirit behind Debt, the spirit of Mammon, seeks to Blind, Control, Enslave and Dominate by debt

Many people just cannot understand what usury is for what it is. Thus, in order for people to understand what exactly usury is, they must be made to understand debt first. Debt is not merely money to be repaid. It has power. Debt indeed is power, which comes from a source not from God: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).  One can discern that debt has a power behind it if one uses one's godly discernment. Debt brings spiritual bondage to a person, not merely financial bondage, but spiritual bondage. The real issue with debt for all people whether unsaved or saved is that it keeps people from fully serving God. It is a spiritual stronghold of mammon that panders to the flesh, to make a God-hater even more hostile against God, by feeding on his flesh to increase its appetite even more. It is also a spiritual stronghold
