Where there is idolatry, there is a demon

Many in the modern church think that whenever one sins, it is because of the human heart. That is true.  For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies (Matthew 15:19). However, what verse these people ignore, while yet accusing me of mishandling the Bible is 1 Corinthians 10:18-22:

Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?  What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?
There are many things to be understand from 1 Corinthians 10:18-22 regarding fellowship with the unsaved, and adopting of worldly ways, including worldly ideas, many of which have crept into the church - unnoticed.
1 Corinthians 10:18-22 makes it clear that when a person serves an idol, the person is serving a real demon. Demons are real and they seek to destroy a person to send them to Hell. Demonic manifestations occur in spiritually dark places such the abominable, pagan, idolatrous places of worship of all the false religions, that is, each and every single non-Christian place of worship, and child sacrifice centres, called "abortion clinics" today.
There is another spiritually dark place that controls the world today, and tempts both the unsaved and saved into idolatry. It is a place called the bank. The modern bank is the temple of mammon. It carries out money-changing, and feeds into the whole evil system of capitalism. Capitalism is not Biblical in any way, just as liberalism and nazism are clearly not Biblical. Capitalism is an evil ungodly, worldly ideology that deserves a Biblical critique, just as liberalism, communism and feminism deserve a Biblical critique.
The modern temple of mammon encourages clients to carry out usury and encourages them to borrow money which they cannot repay - all with usury charged. Everything is either lending money at an interest, or borrowing money because they are consumed with greed, envy and materialism. Who can blame who? The borrowers choose to borrow and the lenders choose to lend. All are consumed or seduced by mammon.
Mammon's stronghold is over the modern banking system which grows off debt creation. Debt is his tool to tempt people into serving him. Debt incites anxiety in people as a result of needing to repay earthly needs. However, mammon uses a promise of an expensive, high-class house, car or other luxury items to bait his foolish victims into running into debt. They run into debt they cannot repay or have to work extremely hard to repay because of their own covetousness.
It is precisely this system which has lead to the debt crisis of the 21st century - because no one seeks to take responsibility for repayment of debt. It is evil to borrow money and not repay: The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth (Psalm 37:21).
The modern banking and financial system not only encourages, but forces people to borrow money and makes it very hard to repay debts, even if both persons work. It seek to cause people to stumble into borrowing but not repaying, in order create debt.
One may argue that they choose to borrow money even if they cannot repay it out of their own evil hearts. That is true. The unsaved may not think they are stumbling into sin because they think it is acceptable. However, that a person has no objection to evil ways and participate in them does not mean they are not a victim of the evil behind it.
Just as how the Proverbs 7 woman  "hath cast down many wounded" (Proverbs 7:26), many in the modern world are victims of mammon. However, they are victims of mammon because they lack the fear of God which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10) who will keep people away from sin. They are victims because of their sin, rather than in spite of their sins. Their sins have made them victims of an evil force and held them captive.

Signs of a Person under the spirit of mammon

Both the unsaved and saved can be under the spirit of mammon. Do not be deceived! An unsaved person can only serve mammon because it is not part of his nature to submit to God in any way (Romans 8:7). However, the Christian can most definitely yield to the temptations of mammon just as he can yield to the temptations of satan. This is what is means for a Christian to be under the spirit of mammon. The signs of a person being under the spirit of mammon are: The person does not understand the spirit of mammon. This is because he or she is blinded by it and therefore cannot see it. The person reacts whenever being confronted with being told that they are under the spirit of mammon, or being told that they may be under it. This is not the person themselves reacting, but the spirit of mammon reacting. The person is self-satisfied with the abundance that they have. This is especially the case with many Christians today. They are happy with having a family, a well-paying job, security

Two types of contentment

The world seeks contentment. It seeks to be contented in pursuit of all kinds of things, whether it be money, health, wealth, romance, sex, careers or family. It does not necessarily seek after riches to be content. However, that one does not seek after money as the first priority, but other things that are typically associated with good traditional values, such as family, does not in any way mean that one is content in the godly sense. By no means! A person can be a "conservative" and "religious" but just as earthly as the "liberal". There are two types of contentment: earthly contentment and godly contentment. Earthly contentment finds its fulfillment and satisfaction in things that are passing away, not necessarily money, but also things like family, education and children. Yes, that's right. Many professing American Christians think that they could never be under the spirit of mammon because they care for their families and love their families, a

The spirit behind Debt, the spirit of Mammon, seeks to Blind, Control, Enslave and Dominate by debt

Many people just cannot understand what usury is for what it is. Thus, in order for people to understand what exactly usury is, they must be made to understand debt first. Debt is not merely money to be repaid. It has power. Debt indeed is power, which comes from a source not from God: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).  One can discern that debt has a power behind it if one uses one's godly discernment. Debt brings spiritual bondage to a person, not merely financial bondage, but spiritual bondage. The real issue with debt for all people whether unsaved or saved is that it keeps people from fully serving God. It is a spiritual stronghold of mammon that panders to the flesh, to make a God-hater even more hostile against God, by feeding on his flesh to increase its appetite even more. It is also a spiritual stronghold
